My gospel includes the difference that Jesus makes in my life.
Jesus is my teacher. As an apprentice, I want to do like him and be like him. The desire is to be a healing presence in the world. The goal is to love others. Every day is part of the unfolding journey of eternity. Jesus gives us permission to journey light. Love is truly all we need.
In the photo, the poppy strives upward. It seeks nourishment from the sun, which it will store as energy to grow and produce its beautiful flower and the seeds for new life. Jesus inspires me to reach beyond myself. Spirit is a source of nourishment that enables me to love. Loving others then sets the seeds that allow love to spread throughout the world.
